OUR APPROACH
Provider Relations
To connect the over 1,300 employed and private physicians comprising the GRIPA network, the GRIPA provider relations team plays a key role in actively communicating and engaging the physician network and their offices to better ensure accountable care and population health success.
The provider relations team works directly with member practices to help physicians get the most out of their membership in GRIPA by:
- Ensuring practices are taking full advantage of GRIPA’s dedicated care management resources and the exclusive data management tools available in the GRIPA Connect portal to help support their success
- Representing physicians in payer contracting negotiations to enter into favorable population health-based contracting
- Credentialing physicians, as GRIPA is certified by the National Council of Quality Assurance (NCQA). This benefit frees individual practices from having to obtain their own credentials from each payer—and gives them more time to practice medicine
As health care reform continues to transform the health care landscape, the provider relations team helps physician practices and supports their work flow changes to achieve success during this time of complex change.

I wanted to tell you how impressed I am with your organization and how it is handling the affordable care act. The emails that are sent out are extremely helpful as we move to accountable care. I have always found GRIPA a great asset to private practice and an extremely well run organization. Everyone seems to be on top of things and there is never a delay answering any type of question I have. Thanks for your help.
